is it real hard to get a job upon a ship if you have good customer service skills?
Asked by shipgoddess83
I've just been on a cruise, and I loved the atmospher of the employees. I have always wanted to do something in the travel industry and I already work 6 days straight so working all the time dosnt bother me. I have been at the same job going on 4 years right out of high school, they promoted me to assistant manager within a year and the last 6 months I've been THE manager. so I have great customer service skills, and am wonderfull at planning and orginazation. would it be enough?

There are schools like that which are similar to flight attendant schools. They are very competitive because the benefits are great and customer service is a minor but still important part of the job.

No i am sorry. I know you can probably do well w/ customer service. But you would neeed to know how to serve platters properly, make funny animals out of towels. So it is a rather hard job. But you can apply but it won'y be any picnic in the park!
