What is involved in being a manager or assistant manager of a drug store (such as SavOn)?

I will be attending a job fair in a couple of weeks and all of the drug stores will have representatives there recruiting for jobs as managers or assistant managers of drug stores. These companies include Longs Drugs, SavOn and Walgreens. I'm considering pursuing this as a career -- I recently graduated with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance, but I'm wondering what my typical day would be like in this sort of job. Would I have to stand all day or is there also office work involved? Thank you!
