Retail managers manage retail outlets, store managers manage any store.

store manager is the overall manager whereas the retail manager is concerned more with staffing issues or similar, it also depends on how big the store is and how many employees their are. store manager is better

Depending on the company but normally a retail manager is in charge of an area of the store or a process of the store while the Store Manafer is in charge of the entire store. It varies company to company and by volume.
