Do you get good money if you are a video game tester or maker?

Hi, well i know someone who wants to be a video game tesster or maker. But i really want him to be able to live a good life! So does that job pay good money or is just a job that you get ripped off on?

If you want him to be able to live a good life DO NOT CHOOSE HIS CAREER FOR HIM.
If he wants to be a Video Game Tester or a Video Game Maker that is his choice to make and not yours.
Just because somebody is working in Africa feeding the poor for free for the Red Cross it does not mean he is not living a good life. If that person is happy helping others then he is having a good life.
Money is important to you but not for everybody.
