Ebay is actually a really good place to start selling your artwork, and you can also use your 'About Me' page on Ebay to promote any website you may have. This is the easiest and cheapest way to sell abroad.

First off, if you have no experience then get some. I suggest taking a distributorship training seminar or sales rep seminar classes. You can easily find them in the phone book or online. There are ones specially aimed towards selling paintings, from presenting your introduction, to selling yourself and the closing. You'll learn various of new arts and techniques, plus you might have fun. By that time, you should have enough experience to be on your own whereas you can start your own business.
