Is there a way to pay people & thier tax on a job by job basis, without ABN numbers or employment contracts?
Asked by nunook2123
I would simply like to have a list of people who i am able to contact if appropriate work is available for them. These people are not likely to have ABN numbers, however they will obviously have Tax File Numbers. I do not want to be their employer or be responsible for sick days/holiday pay ect... Of course i will need to pay their tax in someway and keep everything legal. Therefore any good accountants out there i would really appreciate the help. If you happen to be in Perth you can even do my book keeping in the future! Thank you for you help.

Depending on the work. You can make up a sub contractor agreement where the employee agrees to pay all thier own taxes, insurance, ect ect.
