What are advantages and disadvantages of graphic design?

I'm doing a project on graphic design and cinematography so if you know anything about either topic i'd be greatful

I don't know anything about cinematography, but I do know a little something about graphic design. In a nutshell, it is "eye candy"! Good graphic design can make or break the product you are trying to sell to the viewer. It seems that most of today's graphic art is computer generated and lacks the depth that an artist's hand can bring to the subject at hand. A good graphic designer is worth every penny they ask for. A bad graphic designer can leave you penniless!
