I have worked for 20 years in purchasing. I have worked buying nuts and bolts and also parts for turbines. If you can help me let me know, I know I was very vague the first time.

I would try power generating companies, those who own power stations. There are many in the UK: Scottish Power, Powegen, Scottish and Southern, British Energy Group, BNFL (government owned company). Then there are companies who supply the parts to the power companys, but I am afraid I can't really help on that side (apart from Weir Pumps who I think are worldwide)
