What is the average salary of a small-business retail manager in the Wash., D.C. area?

If you manage a small store in the D.C. area (I'm talking like a mall retail shop) would you mind sharing your salary? I recently transfered to an Alexandria store, which is a 40-mile one-way commute, and I didn't receive any more money. I'm 30 years old, have a bachelor's degree, and was a regional trainer in my previous retail job. I make 33,000 a year. Am I a sucker?

http://www.salary.com I checked out this site and found out I wasn't making as much as I should in my field, then "miraculously" I got a raise and it brought me up to the median.....
