How do I become a photographer in or around the Northern Beaches Sydney?

I am currently trying to get in the photographers game, I have my own equipment that I use for my personal shots, so I can use that. I have done a few photo shots for a couple of local community group and they were very pleased with my work. So any information in getting into the photography gam would be good, I am currently looking for a job in the northern beaches and surrounding areas.
