Is the land surveying career really a good money making job?

For as far as im concern, i don't get enough pay in this field though..

It depends very much on where you are working.
If you work in New York City, or Los Angeles, or some other high priced places, you will make a lot more than you will if you are working out in a rural area.
In order to make the best money, you must also become a licensed professional. Until you become licensed, you will probably not make enough money to be satisfied.

Its only going to get worse. It used to be highly paid because was very difficult. Now with the GPS really doesn't take a lot of time/skill. Just some reasonable practice.
