What do i need to say in an application for an events organiser?
Asked by mail_amy85
I am replying to an ad in the paper to a vacancy titled 'events organiser/administrator' and although I have contacted the company they havent told me what qualities i need or what they are looking for. I have no experience in this area, and they sai that it does not matter. But I need to write a written application and do not know what to say. Does any one know what they look for?? Am very grateful for your time. Thanks!

You need to have great people skills, it helps if you are very outgoing, be very good under pressure and be able to multi-task for sure. The main thing they will be looking for is personality which they will only be able to assess in an interview all the other skills can be learnt which is why they don't mind lack of experience. All you can do is tell them about yourself and your interests and if you are the right person it will come across in the interview. Oh and if you want to work in events you can kiss goodbye to your personal life lol
