Any good advice for someone looking into becoming a truck driver?

Im 27 married no kids. In the army for 6 years and get out at the end of this year. I DONT HAVE A CDL so Im looking for a good company in Indianapolis, Indiana that provides training and wont screw me over.

Gheck out Swift I to have heard their the best way to go. I went to their oriantion and was very happy with the information and the way they do work with you I just could!nt pass the eye test or I be driving today

ya check out trucking on the internet and swift has a driver training program im trying to do the same thing gust remember itll take you away from family so be prepared tony

roehl transport will help u get cdl pay fees etc then they will put u with exp driver for a short time then put u on ur own but u must drive x miles for them (not for free u get paid) i think its lik 75000 check goroehl.com or call 1800 go roehl i recommend them to new drivers

I used to drive for North American Van Lines many years ago, and they were in Fort Wayne, Indiana, I thought they were a good company...
