where do you go to get tested for welding certification for a job?

must weld pipe and have it inspected and pass to get certified the certification is for self employment in greenville spartanburg sc. i haven't been able to find any here.already spoken to several schools and companies. no luck

Many places the prospective employer will test and certify you. Other places you go to a testing lab and they will do the test. If you can't find what you want, try talking with the local welding supply companies. They should have some ideas.

Follow link to "certified welder" if you haven't been certified before (if you have been previously certified, you can re-renew online). You may have to enroll in some community college classes.
