where can I find general information about the petroleum industry?

I am interested in finding out general information about the petroleum industry. I am not quite ready for the technical issues involved with it. I am current a candiate for a admin assistant job at one of the petroleum companies and I need to research and study about general petroleum facts so I am not so out of the loop when I go for my second interview. Any help out there?
