What does a quality assurance medical imager do?

I need to know what kind of people take these jobs and what do they do. My employer is asking me to reseach the qualifications and job description.

it is the profession where you use medical radiation, ultrasonic and MRI, gamma radiaton cameras to test medical imaging equipment for quality asurance and accuracy, and safety protection guidlines we do it every day on our equipment, mammography imagers, MRI catscans, I am the one responsible for check the ct scanners every day before I use them, and compile reports and records to be stored in the event of problems or stste health dept inspections, not much fun, lot of record keeping, but it maight pay well, I guess large companies outsource this
