How easy is it to get into the police force?

I am being made redundant from my job in a couple of months, and I am interested in a career in the police. Forgot to mention I am in England!

Contact your local police office and they should be able to give you information. You more than likely will have to join a Police Academy of some sort.

you have to go through a rigorous doughnut eating session first.

A:
High school diploma. Some require college (assoc. degree i.e. criminal justice), written tests and physical endurance tests. No criminal record, not even a misdemeanor. Its easier for a woman because she's considered a minority.
