I agree with food service, you can also be a cleaning person, or even a doorman.

Housekeeping will make you some money and get your foot in the door. Laundry is also a good place to start. You will meet people who know how the hotel is run and can point out key people for you so that when you do graduate you have a track record with the company, co-workers and managers to recommend you, and a shot for promotion to front desk, or a similar job. If you stay with the company through college you could work your way into management as well. Good Luck.

Most hotels won't hire unless your 18. The above gave the good choices but I have another option for you. If you are under 18 and prefer food service, I would think about being a dining room attendant at a nursing/assisted living home. You would gain experience and you may be able to get a job at a nicer hotel if you have a little experience under your belt. Good luck!
