Where do i start to become a legal secretary?

I'd like to be a paralegal or a legal secretary while going to law school. Is there a National Legal Secretary board, or is it state-wide? Is there any schooling involved?

www.nala.org is the website for the National Association of Legal Assistants, and it will have a lot of resources and information. Look at colleges around you for a Legal Assisting or Paralegal Certificate program. You can usually complete the program in a year.

You can ask your local attorneys for a position...they will take you through the necessary steps.
