Does any one do home daycare? Do you have the problems of the parents paying you on time?

I do home daycare and no body wants to pay on time. I'm tired of it. I have 2 daughters at home and still needed to make money so I started a daycare, now I feel like I'm stuck. It seems like I get the nasiest kids ever. The parents don't pay on time, then they keep 1 child home for a week to visit other family members and they dicide they just won't pay, even though they informed me of this the day of the child not coming. So I'm expecting a certain amount of money due and then oh no, well I'll pay for one. It's driving me crazy!!!!!!!

I am a home daycare provider, I have a printed out rules sheet, they have to sign and agree to upon starting babysitting, one of my rules are whether your child shows up 1 day or 5 days, the price is still the same. If you are having problems with not paying ,tell them that you are going to have to charge a late fee onto the price each week they are late, and then they will start paying on time, if you are considering getting anymore kids to babysit, it may be a good idea to have them pay a week in advance and after that you shouldn't have any problems.I also had problems with parents picking up their child late, after my hours were suppose to be over with, so I started charging 5.00for every extra 30 minutes. Just tell them they're not allowed to use your home for their child if they don't pay on time with the correct amount.
