stuff for him as well. He has had to leave work for 3 weeks due to a family emergency. I had 3 days holiday booked for next week 1 month ago. I was told yesterday that i can not take this. I have paid for flights and hotel accomodation already. I hate this job and really want to go on this break- what should i dop and where do i stand legally? xxxx

Well - you probably had your holiday request signed off, which means you can take it. I don't understand why they wouldn't let you take holiday for three days, especially if you explain that you have financially committed to these. Not sure where your husband actually features. But ultimately, I think it's not healthy and you should find your own work domain. For your own mental health.

Well if you really don't care about the job then take the vacation and tell them you quit but if you value your rep then don't do it! this could hurt your chances of getting hired at another company.
