How do I become a cashier clerk for the MTA. Where, when, and how do I apply?

You have to take the Civil Servants Exam Which you can find dates at www.mta.nyc.ny.us/ and it'll give you a list of job that are open.

go downtown to the mta station and ask for job opinings, i think its on paca or gay street

Many cities have an MTA. I would bet the requirements are different for each city. Maybe you could ask a current cashier clerk in the city you want to work in... just not during rush hour.
