can someone tell me how you get certified as a heavy equipment operator in ct i al ready have experience?

i'm wondering if you have to be a graduate of a school.i got all mine from on the job

Most companies will give you a test to see what you can do----do your best and you will get the job. There may be a school to learn but the best is on the job training. BEST OF LUCK my friend.

you may be interested in going to a temp agency such as randstad or adecco they provide the training for free & you can look in the phone book under education and find catterpillar crank lifts corp. and they will train and provide the certification usualy between 200-350 dollars
