What qualifications do you need to get on the carpenter's apprenticeship?

1. high school diploma or g.e.d. 2. decent math skills, algebra and basic geometry are a must. 3. a recommendation from a local union to join the apprenticeship, you can get this by knowing a union carpenter and asking him/her to ask their b.a. to reccomend you for the apprenticeship.
i used to be a union carpenter and this is what i needed to join the apprenticeship program.
