I got an offer from a mech. engineering industry from santa clarita and I would like to how much a PHD with 6 years of experiance should ask for?

Go to salary.com. It is an excellent website that will help you find out the the median income for your exact job. It will also show the percent of people that make more and less then the average and what those salaries are.

Don't just rely on your one source of possible employment. Check with other sources, like www.monster.com for equal types of positions. Then learn how to spell before actually applying. (Or just use spell check). No offense meant.
