There are books that helps you study for the exam. The only part you'll really be able to study for is the memorization portion of it. It's a good idea to know what will be on the exam, even though studying would be useless.
Much of the exam seems closer to an IQ test than anything else. If you're good at IQ tests you should do fairly well on Post Office exams

If this is for a regular position (not a casual, or TE) then you will be taking the civil service exam. It's like the old SAT's from school. Just practice filling in your circles quickly. Since it is timed, if you question an answer skip & get as many right as possible & then go back & finish if there is any time remaining. Good Luck! (Depending on your score you may awhile to get called back. I had a seventy something & was called back 2 years later. That was 20 years ago. )
