I'm in the process of writing an article about what makes the best retail store managers the best. If your store consistently out-performs expectations and other stores in your district; if you are the go-to person in your district for other store managers; if your DM wishes he/she could clone you, I want to hear from you. Also, if you're a DM and have one of these stars in your district, please let me know. I'd really like to pick your brain about what makes him/her successful. You'll be helping up-and-coming retail managers all over the country, and you just might get your name and quote in a nationally published article! Thanks in advance for the help!

After 26 years in retail management, I can honestly say it all comes down to 1) hiring talented, passionate people 2) great communication skills 3) a fun environment I know some retail management stars and would be happy to put you in touch with a few of them.
