I would like to work as a clerk or secretary in the U.K. I have 10 yrs experience. I'm from Malta. Is it easy?

I would like to contact companies in the U.K, especially London, which are willing to employ clerical/secreterial/customer related staff from Malta.

Considering you're from Malta, an EU state and a country with good relations with UK and have the language, you meet the basic criteria. However at first you probably would have to settle for temporary or contract work.

sorry to break it but in the UK its very hard for foreigners to get jobs as applying for a work permit is hard for a company. u could get a job easily if u fall in the shortage occupation. these are mainly jobs related to engineering or medicine. another thing is that for a clerical or secretarial job it isnt sound employing some1 from abroad as they could find a suitable candidate in the UK itself.
