What do you think the Responsibilities of a Sr. Accounting Clerk Would be?

I work with Government contracts for a company I will not disclose. I was just wondering if there were other Sr. Accounting clerks that could answer what they are involved in or are responsible for. My boss has not clarified this to me and before I go up the chain to find out I want to be sure I am doing something like what ya'll suggest.

Accounting Clerk III Performs daily accounting activities such as, maintenance of the general ledger and preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May direct and lead the work of others.
