If you really want higher paying job or a higher position. You want to get an Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree, and not a technician degree. My husband had an EET degree, and a lot of job positions he wants require an EE degree, not an EET degree. So, in turns he had to get more credits to get the EE degree! EE degree starts around $45,000 - 55,000 and an EET starts around $30K to $40K, or some could be even lower, depends on where and which company you are going to work for. So my suggestion is that if you want to make lots of money in the future and have more respect from co-workers, get an EE degree instead of an EET degree!
