Is it a good career move to do data entry for an EBay company?
Asked by Elizabeth
I am leaving my current position, which I have not had a rewarding experience at, as I was hired to do data entry and it is not very much data entry. I have accepted a position to do data entry for an EBay company here in my city. I will work on-site entering merchandise into an ebay listing. Does this sound like a decent job to do while studying an Administrative Assistant degree at a local community college. I am only intending to do it while in college, not for long term. I enjoy doing data entry, and would like to do it if it paid better as a career. As far as my future degree in Admin. Asst, I am primarily interested in receptionist or continuing data entry work. I'm just not sure if it's a good idea to work for $2.50 less per hour at a company that only does business on EBay.

i would look into banking or something where you can move up in the company, i dont see those ebay stores going real far.

I think that it would be a way to earn a living while in school, but would not do it full-time.
