Valerie S
What is an accounts manager responsible for and what is the average salary?

Best Answer:
Like many people said, depends on the industry. Salesperson is usually what it is and you are taking care of their account. If they have questions, issues, problems, you are the to-go-person for them. They expect you to take care of them. If you want big pay, OEM is the way to go. If you got the business, it's like money coming all the time, that's if you don't screw up their account. It takes a lot of working time and effort to build up and to maintain good relationship.

A:
"Accounts Manager" can mean different things in different fields. Typically it means "salesperson". With most sales jobs, the pay is directly related to how much you sell. Sometimes there is a "guarantee" or perhaps a base salary, but the bulk of your pay will be tied to the sales you produce.... the sky is the limit.

$40,000-120,000 depending on industry and experience. Also, when working as an Account Manager grammar is very important. Your question was not correct. "What is an account manager responsible for..." not "What is an accounts manager..."
