Is it weird to see a goodlooking well-dressed janitor?
Asked by Document Guy
There's a new janitor at work, but he looks different than other janitors. He's wearing well well ironed dockers and shirt. H'es got very clean polished shoes. He's got a very well groomed beard and a very good haircut. He has a very good built, not the typical fat or very scranny janitor. I don't know why, but I feel uncomfortable going to the restroom and seeing him scrubbing the toilet or the urinals. What would you think of a janitor that's better dressed and better looking than a lot of people at the office?

In this day of politically correct b*llsh*t, the term is "maintenance engineer". What he is or could be his business went bankrupt, or his firm went out of business and rather than crying or whining, he is starting over. Bulletin: He probably will own your business soon. Been there, done that.

He is self confident person .

Establishing and following the ground rules of interaction within our shared social space are the cornerstones of acceptable behavior of a social animal like man. A slovenly, poorly dressed financial advisor, for example, leaning over you and leering at your bosom while dispensing his monetary advice is violating the mores of his social position (in addition to sexually harassing his poor client). Similarly, we feel social anxiety when our social inferiors assume the airs and manner of those "above" them, or wear the "uniform" of a social superior. These violations of understood social boundaries lead to anxiety, ridicule, mockery, social discomfort, and retribution. I recommend the writing of Erving Goffman for more complete treatment of the subject.
