How much do you think a person with the postion of Customer Relation and Graphic Design Manager should make??
Asked by jellybean669
I have been at my job now for over 4 year; so say close to 5 years. I am from Ontario so the answers should be based on where i live. I am the head of my department (which is a sign company) and do alot of the jobs that come into the comapny. My job entails talking to customers quoting doing up the artwork required for them shipping and receiving answering the phone setting up a scheduale for installations and manufacturing. You name it i do it. In my line of work and the experience i have (i have over 9 years experience) how much should i make hourly and yearly. I am on salary right now but just found out i make quite a bit less then some of the newer people that have come into the company recently. I am alittle disturbed at the other peoples wages and think i don't make enough. HELP!!!

Go to Salary.Com. Very interesting sight. If you are a minority, you can sue and win. My sister did, but you must talk to human resources first to make a better case.

Really depends on where you are. In the Midwest (i.e. Detroit area), a job like this would probably pay btw 40-50K. On either coast, it would be about 50% more. Hope this helps. How did you come across the information on what other people are making? It's usually very much frowned upon to discuss that information because it is confidential. That said, I would avoid making an argument to your employer based on what you know that other people are making. If you want to go ask for a raise, focus on your strengths and explain things that you have done to advance the company. Good luck to you!
