anyone know where or how to obtain a certification for a nurse aide?

i live in VA, and i need to know where and how to become a CNA, certified nursing assistant

Call your local colleges. They should have continuing education courses or CNA programs. I took a CNA course and got state certified. It took around three weeks. Our clinicals where taught to us in a nursing home. It was a learning experience. Plus we had an offical from the state give us a test. If we passed our tasks along with our completed program and tests we were state certified. This is in Tx i have no clue about other states. But a local community college would probably be the best place to start.
