I've also heard good things about Starbucks. You might also look into a video store since they often need extra people on weekends.

I understand that Starbucks is a great company to work for. I worked at JC Penney when I was in college. They offer competitive wages and I could easily work around my school schedule. Good luck!

Try Walmart, lots of people don't like Walmart, but I think you have lots of choices of the hours you want to work

Try the Pampered Chef! Fun, flexible, low-risk, great products...it works with many different lifestyles (part-time, full-time, seasonal). I've been doing it since Feb. 2005, and I love it!
I'd love to tell you more if you're at all interested!

Work in a shoe store. I worked in one for 9 months, it was awesome. Compared to clothing stores, where everything is always messy and you're constantly cleaning up after people, shoe stores are easy to clean and we would be out of our store right after it closed every night. If I decided to look for another retail job, I would definitely go back to shoes.
