I have worked in hr for a long time and it seems like the attitude (not chip on the shoulder though) to have is that they need you more than you need them, without being rude. After you turn in your resume and application again, give the interviewer a chance to explain a bit about the position and then say something positive about what she has said ex. "seems like a very interesting position" then ask questions like: 1. What exactly are you looking in an applicant for this position. 2. What does the job entail? Things along those lines show employers that you have drive and interest in doing your job well. Let them know if you have the qualities they mention or if you are willing to learn them. Ask about overtime offered and if you mind or not putting extra time. Don't forget eye contact when you first meet (and when you say thank you for your time when it's over) the person and are shaking hands. If they are interviewing other people they might or might not let you know but say "i look forward to hearing from you once you've made your decision" Be confident, polite and act interested in what the person is saying. Good luck and hope you get the job.

First of all relax, if you are nervous you are going to spoil the interview. You need to prepare your self the following way. 1. Check your facial expression. This can be done by talking to yourself using a mirror or better still a friend. It is important to maintain a good facial expression since the interviewer learns about your reaction through them. 2. Go through some questions you are like to be asked. Please and I insist do not cram it makes you look fake. Learn a natural way of expressing the answers. 3. When dressing choose clothes that are dark colours. Particularly appealing are grey, dark blue or black. Do wear a full suit and do not in any way break it. 4. Carry your certificate in a briefcase. In no way should they be in an envelope however tempting it looks. 5. make sure your shoes are polished. Some interviewers have a tendancy to appoint a candidate based on their dressing. ( I know someone who missed an interview coz she attended the interview shagly dressed, the employer is still sourcing for someone even thou she was qualified). 6.Get enough rest, wake up early tomorrow and arrive to the interview at least 30 mins early. 7. When you get to the interview room, initiate a hand shake and do not sit unless you are instructed to. 8. If you stand place your briefcase down and stand with your hands held backward shows a sign of confidence 9. When you sit place your hand in a praying mode on your lap also shows confidence. 10. Remember to look at the interviewer on the eye and if you are not just look at his nose, will think you are looking at his eyes 11. do not use trust me, believe me a lot makes you look like a lier. 12. Answer all questions to the best of your knowledge. It would be great if your can get the company's publication and read the important people statement, normally give the company goals. Above all do not forget to carry original and photocopy of all your certificate however irrelevent they seem. Success in your interview
