What all entry level jobs can I get with a business administration degree?
Asked by J-Boy
It seems like all I can do with that degree is just doing some crummy job at a retail store, or whatever, and hoping that I can get a promotion to management. Is that what a Business Administration major for?, just to help you get a promotion to some management position?

Didn't they teach you that in college. You should have thought about it before you got the degree.

I'd work with sales. It is tough out there. College education does not guarantee a career. Please contact me when you need help.

You should have took a concentration in something like finance, accounting, or economics etc. You'd have a wider job hunting pool. Most employers like for you to pick an area of concentration.

Unfortunately the business bachelor's grads are a dime a dozen (I know, I was one). I recommend you go back to school and get a second degree in a concentrated area: accounting, market, finance, etc. While you're working on your second degree, get an internship at a company (since you're technically a student). Hopefully, it will lead to a full time job after you get that second sheepskin. This may seem like more work, but just another year of school will help you get out of those crappy retail/sales jobs that will suck you under.
