Is it possible to sit for a CPA exam while you are overseas?
Asked by spc_rice
I am in the military and will be deploying very shortly. I am a victim of the stop loss meaning my enlistment in the army has been involuntarily extended. As soon as I redploy I will be released from active duty. I have already completed y MPA and meet all requirements to sit for the exam. I would like to take the CPA exam while I am deployed. That way I am prepared for when the Army finally releases its hold on me. Are there any states that premit you to take a proctored exam overseas?

This is very important question. I suggest that you contact an advisor or an officer from the military department or contact a recruiter from military with this question. However, you could request in a written letter for a CPA exam to be sent to you oversea and have someone supervises you during taking a CPA exam. I had my boss from my previous job supervised me when I took finals online towarding my degree. It worked for me.
