How many of your out there had to give up applying to your field and work in a factory ?

That is what I have had to do - at least I will have to for the next 6 months to a year .

I could work in my field but I don't want to. It would be more stressful than I want to maintain in my life now. I have changed to a less stressful job and for me it is a good trade.

I am not in that situation but I know at least 7 out of ten close aquaintences are NOT doing what they went to school for. Crazy to have wasted soooooooooo much money on college to go work in a completely different field.

I have had to take less work and do just volunteer stuff for this last bit of time. Technology has outpaced me as I recover from an illness...now I am just begining to look for paid employment. I want something better than being a greeter at Walmart...thats just too pathetic.
