set standards , clearly and let your staff know you mean what you say, and you respect their work and appreciate them, but business is business..............

The first thing you do is to shout at them for any flimsy reason by this they will know who the boss is and not take you for granted but so have the compassion and care for your juniors only then will you also earn respect, speak as little as possible and only to the point
