How can i train as a mature Electrician?

I really want to train to become an electrician. However i am 27 so to old to take an apprenticeship. Can anyone offer advise as to how i can become qualified and work as an electrician including getting the practical experience i need.

You are not too old for an apprecticeship. That is what you need to do. There is not an age limit.
