How To Get Started In UnderWater Welding?

Hi I Am A Senior In High School And I Really Want To Be an UnderWater Welding but Im Not Sure How To Get Started in this Career. I Am Unexperienced In Welding On Surface, And Underwater. I Was Wondering If I Needed To Know How To Weld On Land Before I Take Diving Classes or If I Can Go To A Diving School That Teaches UnderWater Welding and Just Start My Career From There... If I Need To Go To A On Surface Welding Trade School First, Do U Recommend Any?!? Or UnderWater Welding school... I Need As Much Help As I Can Get, Thanks... Oh yes, you most certainly need to know how to weld on land, upside down, and sideways before you try underwater. It is very dangerous. College is a great place to start, I took my first welding class in college. It is a great place to start, also ask you class counselor about some good technical schools, such as ITT tech. He or She should have some great schools you could apply for. It takes a LONG time to get good enough to do underwater welding, but at least you have a goal, good luck and stick with it.
