Which one is better? being a certified nurse assistant or in-home caregiver?
Asked by scaroline45
i am a CNA, and i really do have a hard time performing this job. I am planning to withdraw from being a CNA, and be an in-home caregiver instead...like to take care of elderlies in their own home. What do you think is easier?

Best Answer:
in home

I am also a CNA and the one thing that is nice about in home care is that you only have one person to work with at a time, as opposed to the 10 or so at a hospital or nursing facility. You are able to spend more time with the client and not having to rush around. Do not give up your CNA license though, just do in home care rather then facility care. That CNA license will or could give you a few extra dollars an hour, depending on where you live.
