Are there any FEMALE house painters out there?
Asked by Christine B
I've always wanted to have a job as a painter, but feel like as a woman I'd be passed over because of it. If you own a painting business, have you ever had a woman work for you? If you are a female painter, do you like the work and can you make decent money doing it if you gain the experience?

my mom used to be a painter about 2 years ago, she says she had alot of fun and that she got paid a decent amount for the work... now shes a carpenter's apprentice, working for the union and she loves it. we're in Cali in case you wanted to know.

What men can do, women can do better. But here, the risk is that the house owner may like to paint the female painter himself. If you can take care of that aspect, there is fantastic scope.

Last time I checked, we don't live in the time anymore where women get paid less than men for doing the same excact things.
Besides, I'm sure a lot of old, perverted, divorced men would love to have a lady spend time in his house all day.

I hire the extrordinary painters in Everett, WA. It's Sharon and Mary Lou.
Women have the touch. They can cut in along the edges so nicely.
GO FOR IT, and never let anyone tell you it's not a girl thing.
I hope you make a million doing it too!
