Absolutely YES. A common misconception is that CAD is just another computer program like Word or Powerpoint. In reality, it's much more complex. Marketable skills are specific to the discipline using the CAD software (architecture or electrical engineering for example). For an entry level drafter, your most desirable job skills are a good attitude and aptitude for learning. After you've gained a few years experience, you will be able to move easily among companies.
