In some companies, you can be a really high-level manager if you have this job; in others you might be one of many and not very well-respected (sort of a glorified salesperson). A business development mngr does everything regarding to a business plan such as pros and cons of steps to follow, hire or make sure that the Marketing Plan & Sales Strategy are well developed, make plans and give specific tasks to each member of the bisiness development team to make sure the business does not fail or at least that it will have good and solid ground to start or keep going to aproach its goals.
