Does anyone know of a company hiring tile setters?

My boyfriend is a tile setter by trade and does general contracting. He is from Turkey and I wondered if he came to the US, what companies hire tile setters and who can I contact.

Why don't you set up a business selling tile inlaid furniture and hire HIM to do the building and tile setting??? You need not make a fortune as a start up business and would get sweet tax credits plus allowing him the opportunity to get experience here in the USA and close to you. As a woman owned business you would have alot of "pull" in getting contracts for him. You own the business... he does the work. It sounds like a win-win situation; however, keep the business 100% in your name and make him a contractor for you just in case things don't work out. You don't want to be stuck trying to bail out of a business partnership. He can work for you part time while seeking full time employment. Another word of advice is not to co-sign anything legal for him despite how much you want to help him. You could be asking for trouble. When and if you take his ring and his name, then, you can co-sign because you'll have marital interest in the loans and assets... but not until.
