what are the qualification needed to become a data entry clerk?

I want to be a data entry clerk, and I am good in ten-key , are there any other qualification needed ?

Depends on the company recruiting for the position. In some cases all they want is a pulse and the ability to type. Others may want some basic computer skills. Either way, if you capitalize on any experience you have working with a PC, reading and writing skills, and some common sense it should be a relatively easy job to land. Hope that helps.

Usually most companies just require a high school diploma and maybe some expertise in typing and ten-key.

10 key, typing (usually 50 to 60 wpm), spelling and reading. It also depends on which type of company you are trying to get into. For example, law firms try to get someone that knows the software that they use.
