What qualifications do I need to be a Health and Safety consultant?

I want to change careers and I've always been interested in health and safety.Do you think it is a good career path for a mother of 3.So far I have NEBOSH general certificate level 3 and saving up to start my diploma and eventually my masters

just seen job for one today.£300 to £350 per day.

I would ask OSHA, they have tapes ,films, booklets, or go to your locals library they have just about anythings , or go online under health and safety.I wishes you all the luck in the world. I,m happy someone will my the planet safe. I also check with career training places they willing to help at no charge.

I'm a recruiter in this area and generally we look for a NEBOSH Diploma, so I wood work towards this. Most companies do not require Degree / MSc in this area, but obviously it would be a bonus! Good luck.
